About the Author

TransitionalGospel is Greg Hall, who is first and foremost a husband (to my first wife… and high school sweetheart) and father (to two boys in college). I’m also the Pastor of College Ministries and Christian Education at Salem First Church of the Nazarene in Salem, Oregon.

I have a Bachelors of Art in Education (BAE) from Pacific Lutheran University, a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) from Faith Seminary, and am in process on my final project in the Doctorate of Ministry program at Knox Theological Seminary. I’ve been a college athlete, public school teacher, real estate broker, board president, small business owner, and now licensed minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I’ve also had the privilege of taking several tour groups to Israel & Jordan . For those who have been, you understand how a trip like that can radically change the way you read and understand the scriptures. Those trips, and the little training I’ve had in the Greek and Hebrew languages, have really opened my eyes to the theological “man behind the curtain” that we don’t often get to see while reading the English translations.

I write when I find time. I’m excited to share with you what I’m seeing within the pages of scripture.

I commend you and will pray for you as you have one of the most important position in a church. It requires a special gift to deal successfully with people of that age. You have a special responsibility and I will pray you receive the resources you need to accomplish Gods call on your life.

Thanks for the encouragement… and prayer support. I agree, discipling youth is a very important part of church ministry. I’m honored to be doing what I do.
